  • Recombinant Human CXCL1

Recombinant human CXCL1 is expressed in E. coli, refolded and purified to yield the mature protein that is secreted from cells after cleavage of the signal peptide. Human CXCL1 is a 73 amino acid, ELR+ chemokine that belongs to the GRO isoform subset which activate the G protein-coupled receptor CXCR2. TNF-stimulated epithelial cells strongly express CXCL1 in addition to the constitutive expression by macrophages. CXCL1 is a potent chemoattractant for neutrophils and an activator of basophils.
